GLO, African Health Now Distribute Maternity Kits To Expectant Mothers In Lagos

Scores of expectant mothers on Friday gathered at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Iwaya, Makoko, Lagos to receive Glo and African Health Now Maternity Go Boxes, designed to provide instant relief to mothers. The maternity kits were jointly provided by telecommunications giant Globacom and a community development organisation, African Health Now (AHN).
Globacom’s Regional Manager, Lagos 2, Mr. Victor Kalu, explained that Globacom was partnering with AHN with the goal to improve the health of women by increasing pre-natal care, reducing infant mortality and supporting mothers to deal with post-partum depression.
