*NOLLYWOOD HAS A NEW BABY: AND IT’S A GIRL ( Instagram @dellah_pearlz )
Adejumoke Adebukola Adelaja was born the 31st of March in the 90s, into the Royal Dynasty of Elese of Ilese in Ijebu land, Ogun State. Brilliant and talented Jumoke or Dellah as fondly called by friends, is the third child in a nuclear family of four.
Dellah is presently a student of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, studying Laboratory Technology.
Dellah’s acting talent was discovered by Abiodun Jimoh about 10 years ago when she featured as a baby actress on the rested family series “Me and My Husband” costarring with Femi Branch, Femi Brainard, Hafiz Oyetoro, Kelechi Udegbe etc. Written by Abiodun Jimoh and directed by Mike Ishokare. The family series aired on DBN and NTA Network. Jumoke played the role of Phoebe Lawson, a controversial daughter of Fred Lawson (Abiodun Jimoh).
Being a child then, Jumoke’s mandatory basic education halted all forms of acting until she resurfaced on the screen ten years after to play the oppressive translator of Jumoke Odetola in the highly comedic movie HIGI HAGA Part2:
In an industry where fantastic kid actors are rare, Jumoke Adelaja (though now an adult but with a petite frame) can switch easily between playing a 13 year old child and playing a teenager of 18. She is naturally in her twenties and playing a University Student will just come naturally with this new talent.
While many actors today are average, Jumoke Adelaja is bringing an A-Game to Nollywood. God on her side, Nollywood has got a new entrant.
