British High Commission in Nigeria hosts record-breaking sequel days ahead of UK premiere and cinema release.
The recently released movie,The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai, was screened at the Deputy British High Commissioner’s residence on December 20, in Lagos. The intimate, private screening which was co-hosted by EbonyLife Films, took place just days before the UK premiere on December 26 and the release in British cinemas on December 29.
Andrew Davidson, acting Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, was pleased with the outcome. “We’re very proud to be hosting this wonderful film about a British and a Nigerian family brought together through marriage. It’s funny, heart-warming and reaffirms that diverse families and communities can unite through shared values.”

Also present were some of the cast and crew – director of The Wedding Party 2, Niyi Akinmolayan, Sola Sobowale, Ireti Doyle and Enyinna Nwigwe.
