Rio2016; Oduduru finishes 2nd behind Usain Bolt in the 200m race, now through to the semifinals

African junior champion in the men’s 100m and 200m events, Ejowvokoghene Divine Oduduru (@divinerun), always dreamt of racing against Usain Bolt. On Tuesday, the 19-year-old’s dream came to reality as he shared the same track with the Jamaican legend in one of the opening heats of the men’s 200m event.

At the end of the race a delighted Oduduru placed second behind Bolt to qualify for Wednesday’s semi-finals and wasted little time in running up to his idol to share a moment, and words, that should hopefully inspire this talented Nigerian to fulfil his undoubted potentials in the foreseeable future.
