The Wellbeing Foundation Africa & UNFPA To Celebrate International Day Of The Midwife

As part of activities to mark the International Day of the Midwife observed globally on the 5th of May annually, the Wellbeing Foundation alongside @UNFPA, the Nigeria Federal Ministry of Health, the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and the International Confederation of Midwives, is thrilled to announce the Inaugural Global Midwifery Conference Nigeria scheduled to hold from the 4th – 5th May 2016, in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory. With Nigeria having one of the poorest maternal, neonatal and child health indices in the world, he conference will allow professionals from across Nigeria and beyond to engage in rich exchanges with peers, learning about current development in the field, addressing critical challenges and renewing commitments to Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child Health Adolescent and Nutrition (RMNCHAN).
